Looking at my own reflection
My expressions are so numb
Pondering my own existence
I know overanalyzing is dumb
Falling to my ocean
Screaming to the sea
Subliminal motion
Felt deep inside of me

Whence all my pain is gone
Gone will too my life be
For life is pain, there is not one without
The difference is the extent it's felt
Flip the cards one is dealt
Emotions like a rubber band
Never realized we had the losing hand

Night secedes to day
Lustful thoughts, playful feelings
Desiring something I shall never have
Another look, a second wink
It's all gone before we ever knew what we were missing
